The state capital Saarbrücken offers families and people in need of care a financial subsidy in the form of a diaper bonus. Applications for 2024 can be submitted until Monday, June 30, 2025. The diaper bonus is 35 euros per child up to the age of three and 65 euros for incontinence and ostomy patients. This was done by Dudweiler blog reported.
Applications can be submitted in two ways: either online via the website www.saarbruecken.de/windelbonus or in writing to the Citizens' Office of the state capital of Saarbrücken. After the deadline of June 30th has passed, applications will no longer be considered. How Saarnews informed, online applications can now also be submitted. Disposable and reusable diapers are eligible for the diaper bonus. The aim of this regulation is to relieve the financial burden on families with children and those in need of care.
In order to be considered for the diaper bonus, applicants must have their primary residence in Saarbrücken and live in private households. For incontinence patients, it is necessary to provide a current medical certificate if this is not already available.
