Bad Wurzach family father Andreas Frick is fighting for 99,000 euros on SAT.1!

Andreas Frick from Bad Wurzach-Rohrbach is an exciting highlight on German television tonight as he takes part in the SAT.1 game show “99 – Who beats them all?” part. The show, which begins today, June 28, 2025 at 8:15 p.m., has dedicated itself to the goal of finding Germany's greatest all-round talent in the new season. Frick is one of the 100 candidates who will compete against each other in 99 games, with the challenge being the diversity of the competitions. According to [the screen newspaper](https://www.diescreenzeitung.de/allgaeu-oberschwaben/bad-wurzach/andreas-frick-heute-abend-im-sat-1- Fernsehen-2015-uhr-140723/), the participants have to demonstrate skill, nerve and cleverness.

The show is hosted by Panagiota Petridou and Florian “Schmiso” Schmidt-Sommerfeld and consists of seven episodes in total. The first episodes aired on Friday, June 27th. The candidates compete in 14 or 15 competitions per episode, with the winner of each game who remains last winning the enormous prize money of 99,000 euros. Frick prevailed in a selection process and was chosen from over 8,500 applicants after applying with his family.

The challenges of “99”

The show's competitions are both fun and challenging. The games include the tea bag throw, the tape sock marathon, the hand counting challenge and a fact check about Germany. This variety of tasks ensures that not only skill but also general knowledge is required to be successful in the competition.

Andreas Frick describes his participation as a “unique experience”. He had already watched the show with his eleven-year-old daughter during the taping in March in the Netherlands and was particularly impressed by the professionalism of the filming. Over 48 TV cameras accompanied the candidates, although access to smartphones was not permitted during the recordings. “It was a challenge not to be nervous in front of so many cameras,” said Frick in an interview, as reported by [Schwäbische].

A big family effort

Family plays a big role in Frick's life. During his absence from the farm, his wife and 17-year-old son Benjamin took care of everyday tasks. Andreas Frick not only has to master the competitions, but also find the balance between his family and his adventure on the show. At a viewing party in Rohrbach, around 30 guests will be present to watch the first episode with him.

However, with a 13-page contract obliging him to secrecy, Frick remains completely silent about the course of the show and its results until it airs. The show's weekly format and expectant tension keep both him and the viewers glued to the screens.
