dm company run in Homburg: 4,115 runners show strong team spirit!

On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the dm company run Homburg took place, which was a complete success with a record number of participants of 4,115 runners from 256 companies. The mayor of Homburg, Michael Forster, gave the first starting shot at 6 p.m. and emphasized the important role of the event for social cohesion in the city.

The 5.7 kilometer route was redesigned and offered a lively atmosphere for the participants. A DJ at the start line and mobile music groups along the route ensured a good atmosphere. The finishers enjoyed the finish catering with non-alcoholic drinks from Karlsberg and fresh fruit from Kaufland. The runners also received a medal in recognition of their performance.

Team spirit and creativity

The largest team was from Saarland University Hospital with 735 participants. Other companies such as Robert Bosch GmbH with 324 and Saarpfalz-Werkstatt gGmbH with 127 runners contributed to the impressive overall picture of the event. The district town of Homburg, Festo and Schaeffler Technologies were also represented with over 100 participants each. In addition, there were prizes for the most creative teams, including Team Personello, which appeared in the form of running gifts, and the Elversberg Veterinary Clinic, which entered the race as 101 Dalmatians.

The dm company run pursued not only sporting goals, but also social ones. One euro per participant was donated to regional projects. This year's motto “Continuously Doing Good” underlined the initiative to promote encounters and team spirit.
