On June 16, 2025, 16 high school graduates from the mechatronics class at the HTL Pongau successfully completed their exams. Among the graduates there is one woman and 15 men who took on the challenge of diploma projects as well as written and oral examinations. All high school graduates successfully completed these exams, many with very good and good results. To celebrate this success, a solemn ceremony took place at the Schützenhof inn in Bischofshofen, where the relatives of the high school graduates were also present.
At this celebration, the white flag was raised, a symbolic sign that announces that all high school graduates have passed their exams. Graduating from the HTL allows graduates to obtain a general university entrance qualification, open an independent business or find a job in industry. The career opportunities for graduates are promising, as the positions in mechatronics are paid above average and thus contribute to reducing the gender-related income gap.
