On November 5, 2025, there was a theft in a clothing store in Zollhof, Ludwigshafen. Police report that a 52-year-old woman was robbed while shopping. At around 1:00 p.m., unknown perpetrators stole the woman's fanny pack, which contained her wallet. Recently there have been increasing reports of pickpocketing in Ludwigshafen. On May 30, 2025, a 71-year-old woman was robbed while shopping in a store on Bismarckstrasse. An unknown perpetrator had jostled the elderly woman, whereupon the woman noticed that her shoulder bag was open and her wallet was missing. The perpetrator is described as around 1.65 meters tall, strong and dressed in black. Prevention measures against pickpocketing
Due to the increasing number of thefts, the police are giving tips on prevention. It is recommended to carry money and valuables in closed inner pockets of your clothing.
