FPÖ Niederkappel fights for an outdoor swimming pool: save money for swimming fun!

The FPÖ Niederkappel is committed to the preservation of the local outdoor swimming pool, whose continued existence is at risk due to financial challenges in the community. My district reports that some outdoor swimming pools in the Rohrbach district are not secured for cost reasons. In order to keep maintenance costs low, the local party, under the leadership of chairman Rudolf Lindorfer, carries out regular maintenance work.

The natural fence around the outdoor pool is cut on a voluntary basis by the FPÖ local group, which makes an important contribution to the maintenance of the outdoor pool. Lindorfer emphasizes that the community saves over 2,500 euros annually by using a robotic lawn mower, an amount that contributes to the long-term security of the outdoor pool.

Volunteering

The FPÖ team in Niederkappel is also involved in voluntary work to minimize the operating costs of the outdoor pool. According to the swimming pool guidelines of the state of Upper Austria, 50% of the operating costs of an outdoor swimming pool must be covered by income. The initiative aims to reduce these costs in order to ensure the attractiveness and preservation of the outdoor pool. Tips reported about the fact that the FPÖ also invested this year by purchasing a new pool vacuum to ensure water quality.

The FPÖ local councilors also show their commitment by waiving parliamentary group fees and meeting fees in order to provide the necessary funds to support the outdoor pool. This voluntary saving ensures that the initiative to maintain the outdoor pool is strongly supported not only on a financial but also on a social level.

Rudolf Lindorfer thanked the volunteers and rewarded their efforts with shopping vouchers. This high level of commitment to the outdoor pool shows how important it is to the people in the community to maintain community facilities in order to continue to be a place for recreation and water sports in the future.
