Ceremonial honor: those celebrating their anniversary honored in St. Johann!

On June 14, 2025, a festive lunch took place in the community of St. Johann in der Haide in honor of those celebrating their birthdays and weddings. The community's semi-annual invitation was celebrated at the Pfeifer inn in Altenberg, where numerous guests of honor gathered to honor those celebrating their anniversary.

In total, several people celebrating their anniversary were honored. The 75th birthday children included Alois Handler, Maria Zettl, Christine Veigl, Irmgard Tautscher and Anton Putz. The 80th birthday was celebrated by Franz Hutter, Johann Stumpf, Maria Stumpf and Emma Bauer. Maria Notter and Maria Kummer were honored for their 85th birthday. In addition, Hermine and Franz Bauer as well as Elena and Petru Cirdei celebrated their 50th wedding anniversaries, while the 60th wedding anniversaries of Ingrid and Alois Koch, Maria and Johann Stumpf and Maria and Franz Kirchsteiger were celebrated. Unfortunately, not all of those celebrating their anniversary were able to take part in the celebration, which sheds a bright light on the close-knit community in the region.

Honors and words of thanks

Mayor Günter Müller took the opportunity to thank those celebrating their anniversary for their valuable contribution to the family, community and community. The celebratory gathering also included other people, including Vice Mayor Christoph Miksch, Finance Officer Mario Achleitner and local councilors Sylvia Spitzer, Gerhard Koch and Hans-Jürgen Schopf. Their presence underscored the importance of this honor for the entire community.

In addition to the celebrations, those responsible for the community remembered a family-friendly trip to the natural swimming lake in Pinggau, which caused great joy locally.

Revitalization and community projects

As part of the celebrations, it was also pointed out that the revitalization of the old capsule factory residential building in Pinggau had been successfully completed. This historic building was founded in 1892 and underwent extensive renovation and conversion, resulting in a total of eleven modern rental apartments.
