Heidenheim saves itself in the relegation first leg against Elversberg!
The first leg of the relegation between the 1. FC Heidenheim and the SV Elversberg ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw on May 23, 2025. In front of 15,000 spectators, Elversberg was initially in top form and took a 2-0 lead at halftime.
The goals for the guests were scored by Lukas Petkov in the 18th minute and Fisnik Asllani in the 42nd minute. Heidenheim suffered an early deficit, but was able to turn things around in the second half. Tim Siersleben scored in the 62nd minute, followed by Mathias Honsak, who equalized just three minutes later.
