On May 25, 2025, an incident occurred in the urban area of St. Ingbert that put the police on alert. At around 3:00 p.m., a 62-year-old driver of a white Fiat Panda with a St. Ingbert district license plate was caught driving the vehicle while heavily intoxicated. The driver's route led from the BAB 6 junction St. Ingbert-Mitte via Südstraße through the city center of St. Ingbert.
