FC 08 Homburg has strengthened itself and signed Frederik Schumann. The 22-year-old left-back is moving from the U21 of VfB Stuttgart to the traditional club from Saarland. During his time as a senior, Schumann played at SSV Reutlingen, where he shone as a regular player in the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga. Göppinger SV, he played a key role in the promotion to the Regionalliga Südwest and was used in 32 of 34 league games.

His statistics so far are remarkable: In the league, the left-back has made a total of 94 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing 14 assists. Before he moved to VfB Stuttgart II, which had at least 15 appearances for Schumann in the 2024 season, he had already shown impressive performances and gained experience.
