On Saturday, August 30th, a children's flea market will take place in the Dahl-Friedrichsthal village community hall. This event is organized by the GFO kindergarten “Dahler Spatzennest” and will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pregnant women who show their maternity passport are allowed in from 9.30 a.m. This event offers the opportunity to sell or buy surplus children's clothing, toys, children's vehicles as well as car seats and strollers.
Registration for a sales number is done via email and opens Friday, August 15th at 2 p.m. Interested parents must note that only one sales number can be requested per email. Emails sent in advance will not be taken into account. The sales numbers are assigned after registrations have been received at the address fleamarkt@dahler-spatzennest.de. 15 percent of the proceeds benefit the kindergarten. In addition, cakes are also available to take away, making the event even more of a shopping experience.
Next flea market on September 8th
A few days after the first flea market on August 30th, there will be another flea market in the same location on Saturday, September 8th. Opening times on this day are from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Here, too, pregnant women with a maternity pass are allowed in from 1:15 p.m. Sales numbers can be obtained by email starting Thursday, August 23rd at 2 p.m kiga-dahl@t-online.de be requested. As with the first flea market, the following applies: one registration per email and existing sales numbers should be stated in the request.
Both flea markets have the same theme: the sale includes children's clothing for the fall and winter seasons, toys, vehicles, as well as various other items that might be useful to parents and their children. Here, too, 15 percent of the income flows back to the kindergarten to support its infrastructure and offerings.
