Rhineland-Palatinate has made a name for itself in the German swimming landscape, as the Felsland Badeparadies in Dahn is one of the best outdoor pools in the country. According to a current ranking by TUI, the outdoor pool takes an impressive ninth place out of 2,000 bathing spots in Germany. This success is based on Google reviews, only considering outdoor pools with at least 100 five-star reviews. The Felsland Badeparadies impresses with a Google rating of 4.5 stars, based on a total of 2,014 reviews, and thus achieves a TUI popularity score of 8,427 Merkur reports.
The Felsland Badeparadies has been open since May 1st and offers access to an indoor swimming pool all year round. The facility is located in the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve and has numerous heated swimming and bathing pools. Attractive water attractions, a giant slide and a sauna village with spa round off the offering. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays and public holidays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission for adults is 5.90 euros, while children and young people between 4 and 15 years only pay 2.90 euros, reduced tickets are available for 4.50 euros.

TUI's ranking compares over 2,000 German bathing establishments based on Google reviews. To be considered for the list, spas had to have more than 100 five-star reviews. The Felsland Badeparadies was convincing in this regard, as two thirds of its 1,962 star ratings are 5-star ratings. It received a score of 8.427 and secured ninth place, while the Caprima adventure pool in Dingolfing took first place with a score of 8.557 Rheinpfalz added.
Overall, the ranking shows that two other outdoor swimming pools also occupy notable places in the Southwest Palatinate region: the Pirmasenser Plub (rank 338) and the Heltersberger Bergbad (rank 597). The Plub achieved a score of 7.841, while the Heltersberger Bergbad achieved a score of 7.689. The Contwig outdoor pool ranks 1221st with a score of 7.320. Unfortunately, the Biebermühle outdoor pool and the Zweibrücken outdoor pool did not make it into the top list.
The Felsland Badeparadies has established itself as one of the most beautiful outdoor pools in Germany and not only offers excellent swimming opportunities, but also a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family.
