Breathtaking award: Ai Pero in Andernach receives Bib Gourmand!
The official “Michelin Guide Ceremony” will take place in Frankfurt am Main on June 17, 2025, at which the newest “Bib Gourmand” restaurants in Germany will be announced. The Michelin Guide, which has been awarding the award for good value for money since 1997, has included 15 restaurants in this innovation. For the inspectors, it is a year-round process to discover and evaluate culinary experiences throughout Germany. The new awards can be found not only in large cities but also in rural regions and represent a variety of cuisine styles such as classic, modern, regional, Mediterranean and Asian. There are also some plant-based concepts and sustainably run restaurants to choose from.
Particularly outstanding in the new list of award-winning restaurants is the “Ai Pero” in Andernach, Rhineland-Palatinate. The restaurant was recommended by the guide in May 2025 and has made a name for itself with its well-prepared, fresh dishes. “Ai Pero” offers large portions at fair prices, which is supported by the quality of the ingredients used. Particularly recommended is the dish “Ravioli al Pecorini et Fichi”, which is very popular with its combination of pecorino and figs. The location of the restaurant in the historic old town of Andernach also invites you to take a walk after your meal.
