The region's youth centers have been well received by teenagers and their parents after organizing an extensive hiking adventure. This event is intended not only for sport, but also for social interaction.
Participants have the opportunity to experience nature up close and overcome special challenges with the help of teamwork. All activities are aimed at promoting community and understanding for one another.
Diverse leisure activities
In addition to this hiking adventure, the Working group for ecological children's and youth leisure activities offers a wide range of leisure activities in Germany and Europe. This offer includes leisure activities, tent camps, intercultural encounters and adventure holidays that include, for example, kayaking, cycling and trekking tours. The events are organized ecologically and grassroots democratically, meaning that the activities are self-organized and non-commercial, allowing open participation for all interested parties.
The volunteer team members from the various ecological youth associations ensure that the offerings are of high quality. This initiative is run by the clubsBUNDjugend BWandBDP BaWüsupported who are recognized as youth welfare providers.
Funding and certification
The leisure activities are provided by the countryBaden-Württembergsupported and are certified according to the standards of “Supervised Children and Youth Travel”. The working group is also a member of the Reisenetz – Association for Children and Youth Travel, which further underlines the quality and safety of the events.
The combination of exciting experiences and the opportunity for personal development makes these leisure activities a valuable experience for the participants.
