Jan Berger returns to FV Eppelborn as coach – a new beginning!

The upper league football team FV Eppelborn has a new coach: Jan Berger, who previously worked for the Saarland league team Borussia Neunkirchen, is returning to his former club. The 44-year-old announced his resignation from Neunkirchen just a few days ago and is now taking responsibility again at FV Eppelborn, where he was successful between 2015 and 2019. Under his leadership, the team managed to get into the top league in 2017.

Berger began his coaching career at FV Eppelborn, initially as a trainer for the second team. In March 2016 he took over the first team after Norbert Groß's resignation and led them to a successful stay in the league.

Difficult times for Viktoria Berlin

The first conciliation hearing at the Berlin Labor Court was scheduled for November 3, and measures such as preliminary insolvency proceedings could be taken if outstanding salaries are not paid by that date. Viktoria Berlin are at the bottom of the NOFV Oberliga table with just one point from ten games and face the possibility of using U19 players in their next game against Sparta Lichtenberg.

Job Accommodation Network and support for employers

In another important area, the Job Accommodation Network (JAN) takes care of the concerns of employees with disabilities. The organization provides valuable resources and support for employers who need workplace accommodations to increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The JAN, a service of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), has over 40 years of experience providing individual advice on workplace accommodations.

It is crucial for employers to find practical ways to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and JAN is playing a leading role in this effort. JAN's consultants offer not only practical solutions, but also strategies for the interactive process to promote the appreciation of the contributions of qualified workers.
