Young adventurers experience great holiday activities in St. Ingbert!
On August 14, 2025, the children in St. Ingbert experienced an exciting summer holiday program, organized by the Children and Youth Office (KJB). Under the leadership of Luisa Hintermeier and Julia Klesen, together with a team of experienced youth workers, the last two weeks of the summer holidays were full of activities. A particular highlight was the tour of the playgrounds in St. Ingbert, which ended at the idyllic playground in Oberwürzbach. There Claudia Motsch, the head of the social affairs and integration department, welcomed the 26 participating children aged 6 to 13 and provided cool refreshment in the form of ice cream on a stick.
The children had already visited playgrounds such as the Gustav Clauss facility and the new play area behind the fire station in Rohrbach. The journey with the INGO bus line was well organized and the children had a lot of fun. All 28 participant places per week were fully booked and the average age was under ten years. There were more boys than girls. The first week offered special experiences, which also included visits to the St. Ingbert police station, a climbing trip to the Homburg Fun Park and a visit to the Saarbrücken Wildlife Park.
Activities and highlights
An unforgettable event was the water fight that took place at the children's house with water bombs and garden hoses. The four youth carers Moritz, Sana, Marlene and Naya, all between 16 and 18 years old, appreciated the children's honesty and saw the care as an opportunity to gain valuable experience - possibly for a future career in working with children.
The summer holiday program not only offered the children plenty of football and games, but also the opportunity to make friends and experience new adventures. The combination of sport and games as well as the organization by a dedicated team ensured that the children had an unforgettable time.
Overview of corporate credit cards
The benefits of corporate credit cards include simplified monitoring of business expenses and detailed expense control, as well as facilitating accounting. However, there are also risks, such as the potential for abuse by employees or the additional costs that can arise from annual fees. The use of company credit cards should therefore be carefully considered, especially when it comes to access rules and usage requirements.
