Family concert in Homburg Castle: Poetry and music for children!
On Saturday, July 5, 2025, a special open-air family concert will take place at the Schloss Homburg Museum and Forum in Nümbrecht. The event begins at 3:30 p.m. and is aimed particularly at children aged 6 to 10, but younger and older children as well as poetry and music lovers are also warmly invited.
The renowned reciter and musician Oliver Steller will be on stage together with the singing stand-up drummer Thomas Diemer. The program includes poems set to music and spoken words by well-known classics such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Ernst Jandl and Peter Maiwald. Viewers can also look forward to entertaining sing-along songs and fascinating magic tricks. Steller will use his guitar “Frieda” for musical accompaniment.
Special awards
Oliver's Steller's children's programs have received great recognition in the past and have been awarded the coveted German Record Critics' Prize, among other things. The concert promises a successful mix of poetic word play, musical diversity and magical moments.
