Al Nassr, the renowned football club from Saudi Arabia, will open its training camp in picturesque Saalfelden on July 18, 2025, which will last until August 4. How Salzburg24 reports, world star Cristiano Ronaldo will be part of this training camp and will arrive in Austria two weeks after the start of preparations in Saudi Arabia. The exact date of arrival at the Hotel Brandlhof remains unknown for the time being, but Daniel Fischer from the “Onside” agency said that Ronaldo is expected to come.
The training takes place on the hotel's premises under strict security precautions. Ronaldo is accompanied by a personal security team consisting of 16 employees, including four bodyguards. This is necessary due to the enormous interest of the fans, which is already noticeable before Ronaldo's arrival in Austria. A massive rush of fans is expected.
Test matches and exact dates
During the training camp, Al Nassr plans to hold three friendly matches. These are scheduled for July 26th against St. Johann in Tirol, July 30th against Toulouse and August 2nd against Sheffield United. The game against St. Johann will start at 4 p.m. and the game against Toulouse at 5 p.m. The last test match is scheduled for 3 p.m. The games are already very popular, with 2,000 to 2,500 spectators allowed for the first game.

Tickets for the friendlies will be available online, making access easier for fans. The German club Hannover 96 has to change training grounds due to his arrival as they are not allowed to train next to the hotel. Borussia Dortmund will also be staying at the Hotel Brandlhof during Ronaldo's camp, but only from August 4th to 9th.
