Cultural highlights in Salzburg: theater, music and art in June!
On June 5, 2025, Salzburg will present itself with a diverse range of events that include both cultural and educational activities. The city literally pulsates with life and attracts numerous visitors looking for entertainment, knowledge and experience.
The highlights include various theater performances. The ballet “Frida's World” begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Salzburg State Theater, while the Schauspielhaus Salzburg offers a pub quiz at 7:30 p.m. and presents another highlight with “Das” at 8:00 p.m. “The Tales of Hoffmann” will be performed in the Salzburg Marionette Theater, and “Fairies and Ghosts,” a piece from the Shakespeare series in the park, will take place at Leopoldskron Palace at 6 p.m.
Theater and concerts
The cultural offering is supplemented by various concerts. The duo Yuying & Helian Zehetmair will play in the Mirabell Palace Church at 5:00 p.m., while the Salzburg Mozart Ensemble will perform in the Golden Hall of the Hohensalzburg Fortress at 8:30 p.m. The Mozart Dinner Concert with the Amadeus Consort Salzburg at 7:30 p.m. in the St. Peter Abbey School also promises a special experience.
