Big football festival: FCA youngsters at the Cordial Cup in the Alps!

In the first half of June 2025, the football world will be turned upside down when... Cordial Cup begins in the Kitzbühel Alps. The 27th edition of the popular youth football tournament will take place from June 6th to 8th, 2025, where around 164 teams, including talented young players from all over the world, will fight for the trophies. The event attracts almost 3,000 players who will demonstrate their skills on the pitch.

The group stage of the tournament will start on Saturday, while the knockout games will follow on Sunday. Finals are planned in St. Johann from 3 p.m. The inauguration ceremony will take place on Friday to give the event a festive atmosphere.

Tournament mode and teams

The age groups U15, U13 and U11 are eligible to vote for the Cordial Cup. While the U15s play in Group B and face well-known opponents such as FC Gießen and LASK Akademie OÖ, the U13s are chasing points as defending champions in Group H. There she has to deal with teams like OSC Rosenhöhe and RB Fußball AKA Salzburg. The U11 will compete in Group C against strong opponents such as VfB Unterliederbach and TSG Hoffenheim.

  • U13: Titelverteidiger, Gegner in Gruppe H: OSC Rosenhöhe, Team Südostschweiz, 1. FC Hersbruck, RB Fußball AKA Salzburg
  • U11: Gegner: VfB Unterliederbach, FC Wacker Innsbruck, TSG Hoffenheim, Rot-Weiss Essen

Additional tournament participation

The U14 and U12 are also active parallel to the Cordial Cup. The U14 will take part in the International Dr. Nimmrichter memorial tournament on 7/8. June 2025 in Leonhofen, while the U12 will take part in the Whitsun Cup on June 8th/9th. June 2025 in Harderberg will prove.

Another important tournament that belongs to the region is the Cordial Girls Cup, one of the largest youth football tournaments in Europe. The 13th edition took place in Hopfgarten and Westendorf in May 2024, with the finale in St. Johann in Tirol. Here, ODP US Soccer triumphed 2-1 in an exciting final against TSG Hoffenheim, which illustrates the high competitiveness of the tournament. The 14th edition of the Cordial Girls Cup will take place at Pentecost 2024.

These two tournaments in the region offer excellent platforms for young talents to compete internationally and gain valuable experience.
