Preparations for the qualifying round for the 2026 Footgolf World Championship are in full swing. From June 6th to 8th, 2025, this important event will take place in Bük, Hungary. The Luxembourg national team will travel to Hungary on Thursday morning in a minibus on a twelve-hour journey to compete against eleven other nations and to secure one of the remaining six starting places for next year's tournament. Each participating country must provide at least four players, with the best result of the four best players being counted in the ranking. In the event of a tie, the result of the fifth player will decide.
The tournament will be played in “Stroke Play” mode over two rounds: the first round will take place on Saturday and the final round on Sunday. On Friday there will be an official warm-up for all participants to adjust to the conditions on site.
