Seezeitlodge: The best spa concept 2025 in the heart of Saarland!
The Seezeitlodge Hotel & Spa at Bostalsee in Nohfelden has opened as part of this year's Spa Star Awards 2025 secured first place in the “Spa Concept” category. This happened during a celebratory event in the Seezeitlodge, which also marked the tenth anniversary of the Spa Star Awards. Over 20 wellness hotels were honored in a total of eight categories for their exceptional services and concepts.
The Seezeitlodge has not only established itself as a leading wellness hotel in Saarland, but was also named the best hotel in Saarland and one of the 30 best in Germany by the Falstaff Hotel Guide at the end of April. In addition, according to the “Wellness Heaven Awards 2025”, the Seezeitlodge is one of the 20 best wellness hotels in all of Europe. The awarding of the Spa Star Plus Award in 2024 and another honor from the wellness travel magazine Spa Inside also demonstrate the high quality of the hotel.
The awards and nominations
The nominations for the various categories of the Spa Star Awards 2025 were selected by an eight-member jury consisting of travel journalists, travel influencers and spa experts. Kathrin and Christian Sersch, the managing directors of the Seezeitlodge, were personally present to accept the award for the best spa concept.
In addition to the regular categories, two special prizes were awarded:
- Spa Star Special Award an das Relais & Châteaux Spa Hotel Jagdhof in Neustift, Österreich.
- Publikumspreis an das Inanna Medical Spa in Berlin.
The spa experience at the Seezeitlodge
The Seezeitlodge, which opened in July 2017, has 97 rooms, including 14 suites. In summer 2023, the hotel's spa was almost doubled in size to an impressive 5,000 square meters. A highlight is the Celtic outdoor sauna village, which includes three saunas, a shower house, relaxation rooms and a yurt.
A special aspect of the Seezeitlodge is the hotel and spa's alignment with documented earth energies, which aim to maximize guests' relaxation. This is also reflected in the impressive design of the entire house, which creates a harmonious connection to nature.
