The South German Championships in St. Wendel offered the LG Staufen athletes an impressive platform to demonstrate their skills. At this top-class competition, the athletes were able to win numerous medals, set new best performances and achieve standards for the German championships. This also includes a new club record for the men's relay.

The events took place on August 21 and 22, 2010 under optimal weather conditions for athletics. This jump met the standard for the German Youth Championships. His teammate Michael Kucher won the bronze medal in the 400-meter run in 48.16 seconds, setting his season's best.

The LG Staufen men's relay team, consisting of Tobias Schroth, Kucher, Samuel Hofmann and Leon Hofmann, excelled in the 4x100 meter race and achieved third place in 41.67 seconds. Doping controls and organizational challenges

Unexpected doping controls were carried out during the championships, which increased the organizational effort. The German Athletics Association had provided special facilities for this purpose in order to carry out the controls effectively. The requirements required additional accompanying persons and careful handling of the processes.

The South German Championships have once again shown that LG Staufen has a strong and capable team that is ready to compete on the national stage. The athletes are looking forward to the challenges ahead at the German Championships as they continue to focus on their training plans.
