Celebrations without end: All festivals in the St. Wendel district in 2025 at a glance!
In 2025, there will be a diverse program of events in the St. Wendel district, including numerous city festivals and fairs. From May to October, residents and visitors can expect a wide range of activities. The festivals are not only cultural highlights, but also a great opportunity to strengthen the community and maintain regional traditions. Loud SOL.DE The dates for 2025 have already been set.
The first events will take place in May. From May 1st to 4th, a medieval market will be organized in Freisen, and on May 1st there will be a May celebration in the Wendelinushof in St. Wendel. The following month brings a number of further highlights. On May 25th the farmers', craftsmen's and winemakers' market will be celebrated in St. Wendel.
Mid-year full of festivals
There are several events on the program in June. From June 13th to 15th, a city festival will be celebrated in St. Wendel, which will offer numerous attractions. The fair will also take place in Tholey-Theley from June 27th to 30th. These festivities promise to enrich the summer with lots of activities and culinary delights.
The celebrations continue in July: a village festival in Nonnweiler-Kastel is on the agenda from July 4th to 6th. A highlight will be the wine festival in Nohfelden-Türkismühle on July 12th. There will also be a monastery festival in Tholey on July 13th, followed by a medieval market in Nohfelden on July 19th and 20th. The month ends with the lake festival at Bostalsee on July 26th and 27th.
Autumn highlights and traditions
In August, the village festival in Namborn-Gehweiler stands out, which is dedicated to “700 years of Gehweiler”. From August 15th to 17th, this festival invites you to pay tribute to the long history of the place. There will also be a block party in St. Wendel on August 16th, while the fair will be celebrated in Marpingen from August 16th to 19th. Nonnweiler-Kastel will then host another fair from August 29th to September 1st, before the village festival in Marpingen-Urexweiler follows from September 2nd to 4th.
The finale is a musical event with “Alpenrock am Schaumberg” in Tholey-Theley on September 6th and 7th. Finally, the Wendelskirmes in St. Wendel from October 18th to 26th captivates people and rounds off the district's festival program.
