Ignite Group announced today that it has acquired embeteco GmbH & Co. KG, a company specializing in ZIM networks and digital transformation. This strategic acquisition is supported by SilverTree, a private equity investor, to underline its growth ambitions in the grants sector and expand its service offering. The merger allows Ignite to combine its expertise in research grants and funding programs with embeteco's strengths in innovation projects and digitalization. Dr. Benjamin Hötzer, Managing Director of Ignite Group Germany, highlights that this offers an opportunity to offer more comprehensive solutions in the area of innovation promotion.
Matthias Brucke and Michael Kalt, the founders of embeteco, will remain active in the Ignite Group and contribute their extensive expertise. According to Nicholas Theuerkauf of SilverTree Equity, this acquisition is an important step in expanding Ignite Group into the German market. Ignite plans to integrate embeteco's strengths to increase service quality and develop new solutions.
