This strategic acquisition is supported by SilverTree, a private equity investor, to underline its growth ambitions in the grants sector and expand its service offering. The merger allows Ignite to combine its expertise in research grants and funding programs with embeteco's strengths in innovation projects and digitalization. Matthias Brucke and Michael Kalt, the founders of embeteco, will remain active in the Ignite Group and contribute their extensive expertise.
