The sixth Homburg beer hike is just around the corner and promises an unforgettable experience for hiking enthusiasts, beer lovers and nature lovers. On Thursday, May 29th, Ascension Day and Father's Day, the event officially begins at 9 a.m. with serving. Participants can look forward to a hiking route of around 16 kilometers, which is divided into six stages.

It starts at “Hasenheim” in the Beeden district, more precisely at the address Am Neues Schulhaus. From there the route leads via Rattenberg to Schwarzenbach and on to several food stations that offer visitors a wide range of food and drinks.

Diverse culinary offering

At the various stations, walkers can enjoy specialties such as beef stew, Saumagen, roast pork and many other delicacies. This also includes the classics such as grilled sausages and Pilsener at the starting point as well as the popular currywurst and fries at station 5. In addition, coffee and sweets are offered at a beer-free intermediate station between stations 4 and 5 to round off the enjoyment.

For those thirsty, Karlsberg UrPils and a rotating selection of specialty beers are available, while non-alcoholic drinks are also provided. The musical entertainment, which creates a great atmosphere at several stations, is particularly pleasing. Logistics and security measures

Parking is available at Turnerplatz, and a free shuttle bus will be available from 9 a.m. every 30 minutes between Homburg main station and the starting point. Safety is a top priority: route controllers ensure order at dangerous crossings, and a mobile medical service is on duty.

All participants are asked to respect nature, keep dogs on a leash and dispose of waste properly. For fun and competition, there is a stamp card that can be stamped at all six stations.
