In the small town of Raubach, which is located in the Westerwald in the Neuwied district and has around 2,200 inhabitants, an exciting summer biathlon competition took place last weekend. Harschbacher Straße, known as a training track for a local biathlete and a practice area for the fire department, served as the venue for the event in which the Lindlar shooting club took part with its athletes.
While the temperatures were around 30 degrees this summer weekend, the participants were highly motivated. They were able to achieve excellent results: the athletes from Lindlar won several medals in various categories.
