80 years of the Palatinate Secession: Anniversary exhibition in Speyer!

In 2025 thePalatinate secessionits 80th anniversary, which will be duly honored with a special anniversary exhibition in Speyer. This is fromJune 27th to August 17th, 2025takes place and provides a comprehensive overview of the current artistic work of the members of the Secession. The Meeting point Palatinate reports that the Palatinate Secession was founded in 1945 and stands for freedom of art and stylistic diversity. Members of this group of artists shape the art scene in Rhineland-Palatinate and beyond.

The planned exhibition will include various forms of expression such as painting, graphics, photography, sculpture and contemporary media. The works shown reflect the personal, social and artistic issues of the present. The opening of the exhibition will take place onJune 27, 2025 at 6:00 p.mand will be opened by Steffen Egle, director of the Pfalzgalerie Kaiserslautern Museum. The event will also be accompanied musically by Christian Straube.

Participating artists and locations

A total of 23 artists from the Secession will present their works, including Heiko Boerner, Peter Brauchle, and Gabriele Köbler. This exhibition represents a snapshot of a lively group of artists and can be seen in the rooms of the art association SP Kulturhof Flachsgasse in Speyer.
