FCK victory in the test match: 5-0 in Biewer – fans from the region thrilled!

On June 23, 2025, 1. FC Kaiserslautern played its first test match of the summer preparation with an impressive 5-0 win at a venue that initially caused confusion. The encounter took place in Biewer, a small community in Luxembourg with around 2,000 inhabitants. Despite initial irritations that erroneously associated Biewer with the wrong town of Biwer, the location turned out to be ideal for the numerous FCK fans from the Moselle, Eifel and Hunsrück regions, who were not afraid of the short journey. Volksfreund reports on this successful event.

The game took place just one day after the start of training under the direction of new head coach Markus beginning in Gau-Odernheim. Over 2,000 spectators cheered on their team and saw a game in which FCK had more possession of the ball, but showed difficulties in the final third. Kaloc had the first chance in the 9th minute, but his long-range shot missed the target. Fink scored the first goal in the 18th minute, making it 1-0 after a well-played attack. Kicker reports top-class chances on both sides, with the opponent Grimm being offside in the 15th minute and Krahl able to save a shot in the 21st minute.

Convincing victory thanks to a strong Abiama

In the first half, however, things only got exciting when the score was 1-0 at halftime. After the restart, it was Abiama who was met by Opoku in the 49th minute and made it 2-0 for Kaiserslautern. In the 55th minute he successfully put a free kick into the net and increased the score to 3-0. Just eight minutes later, in the 63rd minute, he was there again and made it 4-0 with his goal. Finally, Blum crowned the convincing performance with the 5-0 in the 82nd minute, after he had previously failed due to Jungbluth, the goalkeeper who came on as a substitute at half-time.

This clear victory not only shows the team's fitness at the start of the new season, but also gives a positive outlook for the further test matches. The next meeting for 1. FC Kaiserslautern is scheduled for Friday at 6:30 p.m. against Jahn Zeiskam. The fans can be excited to see how the team will develop under the new coach. The test motivation and the performance shown give hope for an exciting season.
