Bushido announces farewell tour: last chance for fans in 2026!
The German rap star Bushido announces the end of his musical career. After over 25 years on stage and numerous successful albums, he is planning a farewell tour with the motto “Everything will be fine”. The start of this emotional journey will take place on January 12, 2026 in the Uber Arena in Berlin, followed by concerts in other major cities in Germany and Switzerland. On March 6th, 2026, Bushido will perform in Düsseldorf at the PSD Bank Dome before taking the stage at the Munich Olympiahalle on January 22nd. Due to overwhelming demand, five additional concerts have been announced in March 2026, including another concert in Munich on March 11th. Ticket sales for these additional shows began on May 30, 2025, and prices vary between 73.75 and 78.75 euros for seats and standing room indoors, depending on the category.
Bushido originally wanted to end his career in 2024, but the huge response from 150,000 fans led to the additional appearances. Bushido, whose real name is Anis Mohamed Youssef Ferchichi, said in an interview: "It's over. A return is out of the question." The tour is intended to thank his fans for their years of support and to take the audience with him on his musical journey.
Career insights
Bushido was born in Bonn in 1978, but grew up in Berlin-Tempelhof. His musical career began in the late 1990s in the Berlin underground rap scene, where he was active together with rapper Fler as “Sonny Black”. His breakthrough came in 2003 with his solo album “Vom Bordstein bis die Skyline”, which is considered a milestone in German gangsta rap. By founding his label “Ersguterjunge” he not only promoted his own career, but also that of artists such as Kay One and Eko Fresh. In the 2000s he achieved great success with numerous number one albums and platinum awards and consolidated his place in the German music scene.
In recent years, however, Bushido has repeatedly found itself in the headlines, particularly due to legal disputes relating to his business relationship with Arafat Abou-Chaker, which have had a negative impact on his image. Abou-Chaker was eventually acquitted on the main charges, but was fined for making unauthorized tape recordings.
Private life and family status
Bushido lives privately in Dubai with his wife Anna-Maria Ferchichi and their eight children. Anna-Maria Ferchichi is the sister of the well-known singer Sarah Connor, which further strengthens the connection to the German entertainment industry. Despite the challenges of his career path, Bushido remains an important figure in German rap and is now saying goodbye to his fan base in a grandiose way. The farewell tour promises to be an emotional experience for everyone present.
The last concerts on the tour are a final greeting to his fans and a conclusion to an era that significantly shaped the German music landscape. Bushido's path, which begins on January 12, 2026 in Berlin, will therefore become a special chapter in the history of German hip-hop.
